  1. September 2004:
    National Science Olympiad in Riau : participants are : elementary school, lower secondary school and upper secondary school. the subject matter for elementary school are: Mathematicla and Natural Science. The subject matter for lower secondary school are: Physics, Biology and Mathematics. The subject matter for upper secondary school are: Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer. They will involve in Physics Competition Together with TOFI (Indonesian Physics Olympiad Team) and students establishment by Mr. Yohannes Surya.
  2. September 2004:
    National Physics Symposium in Riau, handled by Indonesian Physical Society Riau’s branch.
  3. December 2004:
    IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) at Jakarta. Organized by National education Dept. Prof. Dr Masno Ginting will be the chairman of this event. We are expecting that this Olympiad will be participated by at least fifty countries.
  4. April 2005:
    Asia Physics Olympiad in Riau, handled by Riau Government and National Education department and also chaired by prof. Dr Masno Ginting. We are expecting that this Olympiad will be participated by 20 countries.
