International Launch Event of the World Year of Physics

In 2005, the scientific community will celebrate the World Year of Physics.

From January 13-15, an international launch event will be organized in Paris, supported by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), by the European Physical Society (EPS), by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), and by several other national and international organisations and foundations.

Nobel Price Laureates and leaders from science, industry and international organisations will come together with young physics students from all over the world to share their vision of Physics for Tomorrow.
